 The process looks something like this —

Inquiry, Chat, and Proposal

If you’re interested in working with me, get in touch via my contact form. Then you’ll be invited to schedule a 30-minute introductory call. During this call, we go over your business, answer any questions you might have, and see if the fit is right. Afterward, I’ll send a detailed proposal outlining your project scope and pricing.

If you’re ready to move forward from there, we’ll sign an agreement, and you’ll submit a 50% deposit — then your project is officially on the books. Then I begin the onboarding process.

Onboarding

I’ll send a welcome email outlining what to expect. Next, I’ll set up your client portal - this ensures everyone stays organized, on the same page, and always on schedule.

Then we meet for a project kick-off call to go over the assigned prep work and project timeline.

Brand Assignment + Guided Prep Work

The Rising Creative Brand Assignments walk you through everything I need from you to nail your design. You’ll share information about your business, services, positioning, ideal client, and more. Next, we’ll use Pinterest to create an inspiration board and uncover your style preferences for both your brand and website.

Then, you’ll send over finalized website copy and any brand images and share access to the necessary accounts I need to complete your project.

Clients are always welcome to schedule a check-in call during this prep work process for additional guidance.

Website Strategy Session

When your start date is approaching we meet one last time for a Website Strategy Session. During this call, we review your brand assignments and answer any questions you might have. We also go through your Pinterest inspiration board to make sure we’re on the same page visually.

During this call, we get clear on your primary website goals and map out the pages of your website, assuring we have all the copy needed to create the pages.

Your prep work is due one week prior to the design start date. As soon as everything is submitted, I review everything carefully ensuring I have what’s needed to dive in on your start date.

Brand Identity

After reviewing your inspiration board and style preferences, I begin sketching ideas for your new logo design. Once I have a concept I’m ready to run with, I begin designing it in Adobe Illustrator. Then, I begin creating logo variations and brand marks. Lastly, I create a custom color palette and photo direction with your desired style + vibe in mind.

Website Design

Once the brand design is approved, I begin working on the site design.

Depending on the scope of your project — One to three weeks after your start date, the full site is ready for final review. I’ll guide you through the site and you’ll submit feedback and any refinement requests. This phase includes one round of refinement requests and adjustments before launching.

Just like the prep phase, you’re always free to schedule a quick Zoom call to discuss the designs and walk through any of their feedback.

Launch and Support

I’ll launch your site and we’ll have one more scheduled walkthrough call.

After launching, you’ll receive a full 14-days of support for any last-minute questions that might pop up as you dive into your new website.

If we’re also working together on an ongoing marketing plan, we’ll start to dive into that process.

A new website is usually just the beginning of the relationship. I continue to work with several clients on an ongoing basis whether that be via website updates, or ongoing marketing needs.
